Washed carbon is processed to reduce ash, soluble impurities, and selected inorganic residues. This improves product cleanliness, supports tighter pH control, and makes the carbon suitable for applications where extractables, metals, colour, taste, and process purity matter.

Process Direction

CarbonMax washed grades are produced by treating finished activated carbon through controlled washing, neutralisation, dewatering, drying, demagnetisation, screening, and packing. The process is designed to improve carbon purity while maintaining adsorption performance, mechanical strength, and particle-size consistency. Final specifications are aligned to the application, operating environment, and customer approval protocol.
