High-purity, low-extractable carbon for TOC control and oxidant protection in sensitive water systems.

High-purity AquaMAX grades are selected where extractables, ionic leachables, metals, TOC contribution, and cleanliness are critical. Acid washing and dedicated QA documentation may be required based on end-use. For ultra pure water applications, Carbonmax offers high-purity coconut shell based activated carbon produced with controlled washing and acid-washing options. These grades are designed for fast removal of dissolved organics, trace ions and gases while maintaining low ash, clean handling and structural integrity. Compared with coal and peat-based carbons, coconut shell activated carbon offers a naturally low ash profile that supports critical purity requirements.
