Cigarette Filter

Sensory & Vapour Precision.

Controlled granules for selective vapour-phase adsorption with low dust and consistent sensory performance.

Cigarette Filter Application

CarbonMAX™ (Cigarette Filter)

Controlled granules for selective vapour-phase adsorption with low dust and consistent sensory performance.

Carbonmax supplies high-purity coconut shell based activated carbon for cigarette filter and specialty vapor-phase filter media applications where controlled particle size, low dust, consistent adsorption performance and clean handling are essential. Our grades can be tailored for OEM filter requirements, with attention to granule uniformity, low ash, low moisture and batch-to-batch consistency. *Important Note: Activated carbon can reduce selected vapour-phase smoke constituents when properly integrated into a filter, but it does not make smoking safe. Final product design, legal compliance, tobacco-specific regulatory review and consumer claims are the responsibility of the filter or tobacco product manufacturer. Carbonmax does not authorize safety claims without approved test evidence.*

What It Handles

  • Select vapour-phase smoke constituents
  • Organic gas challenges
  • Moisture and bulk density variables
  • Process dust and fine particles
  • Sensory profile consistency targets

Engineered to Deliver

  • Controlled granule size: Supports uniform loading and consistent pressure drop in filter segments.
  • Low dust and low fines: Improves handling cleanliness and reduces migration of fine particles in filter media.
  • High vapor-phase adsorption: Supports adsorption of selected vapor-phase compounds in specialist filter designs.
  • High purity and low ash: Supports clean filter media performance and reduces risk of unwanted leachables or residues.
  • OEM customization: Mesh size, activity level, moisture, ash and packaging can be aligned to customer specification.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Activated carbon can reduce selected vapour-phase smoke constituents when integrated into a filter, but it does not make smoking safe. We position this carbon only as an OEM filter-media supply component.

Controlled particle-size distribution, bulk density, moisture, low dust, and high hardness are critical to ensure smooth metering and prevent filter-tip contamination.

Yes. Sizing, mesh cuts, activity levels, and packaging can be customized to align with specific filter design architectures.
